James asks…

I want to sell my gemstone jewelry and I'm stumped for a name to put on my business cards. Any ideas?

Please don't waste your time sending nasty names. I'm serious and I really need a good name for my little craft business. My jewelry is beautiful and all semi-precious gemstones and my name is Bobbye. I'm a redhead, if that makes any difference. As you can see my name here is SassyOldBroad, so maybe you can go from there and suggest something. Thanks for reading this. Appreciate any and all answers. Godloveya.

Thanks!

It looks like dalmation jasper to me.
I would also suggest firemountaingems.com. If you e-mail them the pic, I'm sure they would identify it for you. They are known for being super-helpful.

Where can I buy refined/tribal gemstone jewelry?

I'm looking for a really nice necklace for my Mother in semi-precious stones, she likes a chunkier look sort of refined tribal look lol...Hope you can help.

Nancy asks…

Where is a good place or buyers to sell my jewelry line? I need some ideas on ways to promote?

I have a new jewelry line called Zahavblue, all my pieces are handmade with semi-precious gemstones and are all very unique and beautiful. I started my store on Etsy, but don't make many sales. I would like to know if anyone knows any jewelry buyers or has any ideas on ways I could bring in more business.

Thanks,
Zahavblue

Hi,
If you want a wide exposure to your product or services, then I suggest you the Internet is the best option for you. Internet provide a huge exposure to the Product and helps to build up like a Brand. There are so many sites, with the help of those you can promote your product. Examples of sites like yebhi.com, fashionandyou.com etc.

Laura asks…

Tag line for an exotic & chic handcrafted jewelry business?

I make solid silver and gold jewelry with high-quality semi-precious gemstones. The look will be inspired by exotic and ancient motifs, but will also be sleek and modern. I was thinking of using

"handmade for the adventurous"

For my tagline. I want to target women, age 20-40, who value wearing jewelry that is distinctive, has meaning, and yet, is chic and classy in appearance.

Do you think my tagline works, or do you think I would be alienating a part of my target group with the word 'adventurous'? My jewelry can be worn with business suits, jeans, or with that little black dress, so it is really versatile. I was thinking of also including a handmade luggage tag as a freebie with every order to reinforce the idea of the 'adventure'. What do you think?

admin answers:

Not grabbing me and I think I'm right in middle of your target audience. The word adventurous feels too vague... Makes me think of either sherpas and safaris or extremely alternative design.
