Is it true that semi precious and precious stones have healing powers?
There are many books about this which tell you what to do and how to use the stones etc. But is there an element of truth in this because I don't want to invest a lot of my time (and some of my money) in this for it to turn out to be useless.
Also they say to 'channel' your crystal by saying out loud what you want it to do and creating a vision of this, but doesn't that sound a bit easy? And what different would it make if you say it or think it?

God made the gold and the precious stones for people to adorn themselves not the things.because people are precious to God and the salt of the earth as He said , what is the use of the diamonds if we shouldn't use them wear them ?where to put them at the cups?the people can wear them as they are precious to God and for His honour looking fine and nice...even in old testament God said that he gave this to people to make them shining..and silk and rings and bracelets..
but of course we musn't use them with a dirty purposes.
as long as you worked for them hard and you deserve them i supose you can wear them...

Eh? If God made gold, then he also made arsenic and lead...you can use them if you want too, cos God made them. I don't really get your argument.
Surely it's about your attitude when you're wearing it? Also, very important, think about where gold, silver and precious jewels come from.. Often they come from horrible mines, which are dangerous and polluting and the miners earn next to nothing. Make sure you get your jewellery 2nd hand or from an ethical source. That's what being a Christian's about

i recently (stupidly) cleaned precious stones using jewellery cleaner, the stones have now dulled! help!?

Sounds like they just need to be buffed more. I have a method I've used for years. A jeweler told me this was the best method (in her opinion of course). Anyway, put the jewelry in a small suace pan on the stove. Add dishwashing liquid soap. Add a small portion of water. About 10 - 20%. Bring the mixture to a boil. Turn heat down a bit. If it tries to bubble over, blow air on it to cool it down. Turn heat over, wait two or three minutes. Remove the jewelry and brush it with a tooth-brush. It will sparkle like new. No harsh chemicals etc.
Try this on the jewelry you just mentioned. I believe it will clean it up. Otherwise, take to a jeweler for more help.

What is meant by... "yet so as by fire' ?
Lastly...Since Jesus Christ is the Beginning and the End of all things, and His Fire will consume all the errors and lies and unrighteousness.....is it not mercy from the Eternal God to even be able to consider these things, and prepare accordingly ?
If the fear of the Lord is just the beginning of true wisdom from Above, we better get started wouldn'tcha ya think ?
What does it mean that the gold and silver and precious stones SHALL ABIDE the fire ?
Bonus Q: "...he that has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? says the LORD."

p.s. If the kingdom of God is ABOVE us and within us, would that mean it is also existing in a Higher Dimension, and a more lasting plane of reality (Truth), and the fire is that which removes that which holds us captive to our illusions, and deceptions ?
Hence, God asking Jeremiah, "What is the chaff to the wheat" ? "Is not my Word (Spirit and Life) like a fire" ? ((( Burning with Truth's Desire : )))

JT: yes....but looking deeper, how do we know NOW that we are building with the correct and lasting gold and silver and stones....for the scripture says the works shall either abide or not....at the time of "revealed by fire" it will be too late to 'add to their works and make any changes to what was done' .....Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.

These are the rewards that christians will recieve for their work on the earth. At the bema seat of Christ, all our works will be put through fire. Some will burn up and some will remain.
