Dragon quest 9 sainted soma help?
i need agates of evolution but its hard to get sainted soma is there a spot to find them or buy them or at least to get the ingredients easier

Sainted soma is a alchemly only thing. The things you need to get them is 2 lucid shards+2 sages elixer+2 astral plumes.
To get the lucid shards you need 3 brighten rocks (found NE of wormwood)+3 even cloth( found in the pit south of the town in gleeba)
to get sages elixer you need magic water (N of the academy))+royal soil(N of port laffon)+3 nectars(S of thee acadmey and N of bloomingdal _2 different spots_
to the astral plumes you need 3 flurry feathers (east of bloomingdal by the tree)+2 fresh water(NW of dourbrige)+angel bell(which can be bought like some other iteams listed)

about rock hounds?
I have always been interested in looking for interesting rocks, agates, ruby's, etc, is there a job out there that allows you to be a rock hound?

Well I have managed it. I have been a professional gemmologist for over 40 years now. I went to university after school and got myself a PhD. In mineralogy and a MSc. In crystallography. After a few quick jobs in research labs. I kicked out on my own, I did some prospecting in various parts of the world and also bought rough gems from the mine to have cut and sell in Europe. I do not travel so much these days but I still carry on my gem consultancy. I have loved every moment and work still feels like a hobby that people pay me to do.

where can i buy large agate rocks besides ebay and new age stores. i'm talking big chunks, about the size of a hand.

Try Lowes's or a garden and yard store look online and try to find addresses and maps 2 diffrent stores!!
