Some of the agates I have found and polished over the last few years are shown in this short film. Some these Lake Superior agates were indeed found along the shores of Lake Superior, but in fact most of them were picked from the bottoms of gravel pits in the Duluth, Carlton, Cloquet, and Moose Lake area in NE Minnesota. These gems were polished in a tumbler we purches many years ago, being about the size of a large one pound coffee can. Each complete cycle takes an average of seven to nine days going through all the needed grits, which we purchase up in Two Harbors, MN. The exact locations remains secret Features a 1.14# beauty
